Author's Note: I wrote this right after seeing the movie about a month or so ago. It's been a very long time since I wrote any fanfiction. I apologize if this sucks.

Happy reading and have a nice day! :)

"Are you sure it came this way?" Floyd asked, looking 'round.

He felt ridiculous, sitting in this tiny boat with Harley, sailing merrily down the tunnel of love — abandoned tunnel of love. Everyone had high tailed it right out of there the moment the monsters showed their ugly mugs.

Harley blew a bubble, smacking her gum. "I'm sure, I'm sure." She didn't sound sure.

She leaned back on her hands, looking 'round at all the red and pink decorations; hearts, swans, and cupids covered almost every inch of the ride's tunnel. Even their little boat was painted white with chipping red hearts and chubby cupids with gold arrows. The only lights in the tunnel were flashing pink hearts strung up like Christmas lights; it didn't give them much to work with.

Floyd stopped rowing when they were sitting at the halfway point. He leaned against his hand, sighing. "Sure is a boring ride."

Harley nodded. "Ain't it?" She threw her head back and shouted, "I want a refund!"

"Harls, we didn't pay."

She shrugged.

Without warning, Harley shot to her feet. "There! I saw it!" She was pointing into the water.

Floyd stood, too. The boat swayed violently and almost tossed them out. He grabbed her arm to steady her out of a newly formed habit.

Floyd tried to get a clear shot of the monster, but it kept darting under their boat. He could've shot through the boat, but then they'd all be screwed.

Harley pulled off her jacket. "I'll distract it."

"Harley, wait — " Too late. She jumped into the water.

As expected, when she sank into the sights of the monster and out of Floyd's view, the monster charged at her. Floyd shot the creature in the head. It's head exploded in a hundred different chunks of flesh. It had smelled bad when it was alive, but dead it was even worse. Floyd made a face, the smell making his eyes water, and covered his mouth.

He searched the water for Harley. Why hadn't she come up yet? The water wasn't that deep and there was no way she'd missed the creature brains floating all over.

Floyd waited a minute longer before muttering, "Damn it" and jumped into the water. He dove down below the dead beastie. At the bottom of the canal laid a seemingly unconscious Harley Quinn.

Harley sputtered and coughed the second they surfaced. They slumped over the side of the stupid tiny boat.

"You could've mentioned not knowin' how t' swim," Floyd complained, trying to catch his breath amidst the foul smell.

Harley merely smiled. "You would't've let me come."

"Damn straight."

"And then I would've died tryin' t' follow you anyways. Nobody tells me where I can and can't go, Hotshot." She winked at him.

He shook his head. This girl was going to get them both killed one day. At least it hadn't been today. Zoe's birthday was tomorrow, after all.

"Let's get outta here."

Floyd hoisted himself into the boat again. He took Harley's hand and pulled her in. She slumped against him as he rowed them out. Rick Flag was waiting at the end of the tunnel. He raised his brows at them.

"Have a nice swim?"

Floyd shot him a glare. Harley grinned.

As they climbed out of the boat, she nudged Floyd. "Does this mean we're in love? We made it all the way through the tunnel and everything."

He winked at her. "Not a chance, Dollface."
