When we first met,
you were small
and well to say the least, pathetic
A little boy of six years old,
who couldn't even hold his own.

Uncertain at first I was
Of this blonde haired child
But, upon defending your honor,
and looking into those wide green eyes
any questions I had dissolved into curiousity.

That curiousity for your strange innocence,
made me notice the wonder for the world
you'd been born with.
It was amazing!
Showing me, by just exsisting
that life was out there, beyond my own nose.

I guess, sometime in our estranged youth,
we grew as close as brothers
Since of course,
I took it upon myself to look after you.
This relationship we have, I worship with all my heart.

Because with your wide eyed "Innocence"
Even at 23, you still keep me alive.
The adventures we've been on, one after another..
Is enough, for most to only dream of.

You know, there's something in those eyes,
Those brilliant green eyes
that I just can't say no to.
Though for the life of me i've tried.
And in the 17 years I've know you,
the inability to say 'no' has nearly killed us!

But i'll be a cold day in hell when I give it up.
That'll also be the day our friendship ends.
And, my blonde haired companion.
I know for a fact, we're a lot closer than brothers.
The love I hold goes deeper than blood

A funny pair we make, you and I
My thirst for money, your love of life,
A combination most unusual.
But, the more I learn, the more I see
the more I revel in this curiousity.
I believe in anything, since I believe in you.

Now if I could just remember that,
when one of our cons runs astray,
and we end up in another damned barrel.
But hey, it's all in life of an explorer right?
One adventure after another,
From run away mules (heh), to a city of Gold.
Enough to leave a normal person,
Out in the cold.

So before I kill somebody
with the length of this poem,
I'll say..oh no..you've got that look again..
What are you going to get us into now?
Maldición! here we go again..
Another screwed up adventure.
Just another day in the life of Miguel and Tulio.

Well ok, so there's my lamo attempt at a poem for Road to Eldorado. Like it makes any sense anyways?!??

Yeah you caught me, I'm a newbie to the world of Fanfiction concerning "Road to Eldorado" but..like every fetish I've had in my life, this one came back to light. *is still trying to talk her parents into letting her get the DVD...hehe*

Anyways, here's a screwy poem I came up with at 11 o'clock last night...^ so how bad is it?
Maldición by the way is Spanish for Damn..so there..

Uh..Yah, that was Lame *Shakes her head and walks off muttering*
