Just a quick little one-shot i wrote in English class instead of my essay. :3 Hope you enjoy it please R&R

A cool winter breeze brushed my cheek, causing me to shiver. Frosty white snow blanketed the ground around me as I stood silently on the bridge over the river. A small sigh passed through my lips as I looked at the cloudy night sky. "I guess I had my hopes up for nothing. I've been waiting for hours." I murmured before walking towards the nearby park. "Mrrow~" The small sound of a cat purring met my ears before something brushed lightly against my leg. Glancing down, I blinked a few times, looking at the fluffy cream colored cat at my feet.

"Karupin?" I questioned while pushing a few strands of my long wavy blond hair from my face before kneeling down to the cat's level. "Come on Karupin." I muttered while picking up the warm, soft cat and walking towards a swing set. Sitting down I sighed softly before pushing off, causing the swing to sway back and forth slightly."Mrrow~" Karupin cried out softly and purred as I stroked my gloved hand over his ears. "If you're here then where is Ryoma?" I muttered as I watched the snow fall silently over the park.

Sliding my hand into my purse, I pulled out a small wrapped box. I stared at the white and red wrapping paper and slowly closed my eyes as the swing finally came to a stop. "Mroww~" I felt a soft paw bat at my hand a few times before I opened my eyes to look at Karupin. The cat's small paws were batting at the excess ribbon on the box as he cried out in joy. Giggling I continued to watch the cat playfully paw at the ribbon as frosty snow landed on us.

"-rupin!" The echo of a voice caught my attention as Karupin's ears perked up. My light grey eyes flicked around the park but I saw no one there. "Was that my imagination?" I muttered to myself before sighing. "Karupin!" A voice called out the cat's name again though this time more clearly and closer. 'That voice sounds familiar. Ryoma?" I questioned in my mind as the crunch of boots on freshly fallen snow caught my full attention. Turning my head slightly I saw a figure running towards me and Karupin. A small smile graced my lips as Ryoma stopped beside me panting, his bangs covering his eyes slightly. "S-sorry I'm late Rosette. Huh Karupin got out and I can't find him." He said in between pants as he looked up at me.

Picking up the cat that sat quietly curled in my lap I held him in front of Ryoma. His chocolate brown eyes widened slightly before a smirk crossed his lips. "Where'd you find him?" He questioned while looking at me and Karupin. "He came to meet me in your place." I replied while giggling "Mada mada dane." I added with a slight smirk as he took Karupin from my hands before sitting on the swing beside me. Picking up the small gift in my lap I held it out to him with a smile. "Merry Christmas, Ryoma." I stated while looking into his chocolate colored eyes. He took the box with a smile before reaching into his jacket pocket and pulling out a small gift and handing it to me. "Merry Christmas to you too, Rosette.
