A/N: Another angsty little one-shot. This was actually the first Boosh fanfiction I ever wrote, I just never uploaded it because I thought it was rubbish. But I showed my friend and she told me to upload it, so here it is. Enjoy :)

Howard looked out from under the duvet to find Vince next to him and no memory of how he got there. Oh, God. He hadn't, had he? He racked his brains, trying to remember the events of the night before. He'd been to the pub with Vince, had a few drinks, they'd come back… Suddenly it all came flooding back to him. He had gone to bed alone, but been woken by Vince at around two am. He'd had a bad dream and come to Howard for comfort. Howard had been all too happy to oblige, and let him sleep in his bed. Relief coursed through him as he knew he hadn't slept with his best friend. Although… fact was… No. Don't be stupid, he told himself. Vince would never… would he? No. Vince was liberal, but surely not that liberal. Howard got up out of bed, cringing slightly at the light coming in the window. He closed the curtains a little more and looked at Vince as he slept. His bright blue eyes fluttering as he dreamt; his hair a ruffled mess; his eyeliner, which he hadn't removed when they got in, smudged to the point of panda eyes. Howard was the only person he trusted enough to let see him this way. And he was still beautiful. Howard cursed his brain. Thoughts like this were coming more and more often recently. Every time he looked at Vince, his heart skipped a little beat. He knew what was happening. He had felt it before, but the only time it had ever been this strong was that night on the roof. When they kissed. He was falling in love. Falling in love with his lifelong best friend, the only true friend he'd ever had. The one who had stuck by him. And the worst part, the most agonizing, cruel part was what he knew for certain:
Vince Noir would never, could never, love him back.
