Tiki: This is a story about an old Yugioh 5Ds OC of mine Named Project X: He is a clone of Yusei Fudo but his colours are inverted (white hair with blue streaks, gold eyes, blue-ish skin) because his DNA was fused with Planetary Particles, this also gave him strange powers. X hates yusei but until now it wasn't explained why as I never really gave him a backstory. *sweatdrops*

Anyway... I would like to mention that this is a fanfiction on a fanfictionwebsite, Therefore I do not own Yugioh 5Ds, or any of the Yugioh 5Ds characters, I do however own Project X and the two scientists in this chapter

Now without further delay here's Chapter 1: A clone's Sorrow

Project X… they didn't even bother to give me a name. Why would they? After all I'm just Yusei Fudo's clone. No. Not even that.

-Flashback-

(10 years ago, Domino Labs)

One night I awoke to the sound of voices in the hallway. Two of the scientists, Dr. Julian Crowe and Dr. Richard Dale were discussing something in hushed voices.

"What do we do with it?"

It? What are they talking about?

"Dr. Fudo refused to have it destroyed… however Dr. Fudo isn't with us anymore."

Dr Crowe's words seemed to have a sinister feel them and that's when it hit me:

They're talking about me!

Dread overcame my body and I started shaking but I continued to listen to the conversation on the other side of the door.

"I don't know Julian… Dr. Fudo was a good friend of mine; I don't think it's wise to disrespect his memory like this."

"Come on Richard. You know just as well as I do what that thing is capable of. Just imagine what would happen if it were to get loose. For the safety of New Domino City, we have to get rid of it."

"I know but it's a just child."

"Richard. That thing is not a human it is merely a result of a failed cloning experiment, a mistake and nothing more."

I had never known true pain before I heard those words; it felt like someone had stabbed my chest with a knife, ripped my heart out and thrown it into a fire.

I had always thought the scientists were my friends, my family but I guess that had just been an act

I'm a mistake?

-End of Flashback-
