Completely Stupid Comeback Special For Cookie Monster by HPparasiempre

Cookie monster was sitting on the usual wall at the usual time looking completely unhappy with the fact that it was a celery stick in his hand and not a cookie.

The 'perhaps if me pull faces at stupid thing it will be better' plan was not working quite to plan and sooner or later he was going to have to eat the bothersome thing.

The cameraman called from his post that they were on in 5 minutes.

CM just sat there and tried to practice.

Looking happily at the camera he recited the lines and then turned to the celery and pulled a very disgusted face whilst trying to get up the courage to eat the thing when Elmo walks onto the setting holding something at his side.

Cookie Monster looks at Elmo curiously whilst internally grateful for a distraction from his task.

Elmo was deeply in thought about something or other and did not seem to notice he was on the set or that CM was there too.

CM looked closer at Elmo and noticed what is was that was in his hand. He stated to shake. In Elmo's hand was a big freshly baked cookie. Choc Chipped, just as CM like them.

Cookie monster looked at his celery stick and back at the cookie several times all the while his shaking increased. His face tightened with suppressed energy before finally something inside his brain snapped and he jumped down of his wall and stalked over to Elmo and towered over him.

Elmo was startled out of his musings by a dark shadow in his path. Looking up at a slightly crazy CM was not one of the best things for ones courage and Elmo started to cower.

Cookie Monsters breathing was ragged and his eyes even more boggled than usual. One of his eyes was squinted and twitching and his teeth were bared in a grimacing smile.

"Elmo," He said in a hoarse voice, "if you don't give me cookie right now me not know what me going to do," he stated in a somewhat calm voice.

Elmo look relieved that this was all that was going on and stated quite calmly, "but this cookie is for big bird becau-" but he was cut off.

"Elmo, give me fucking COOKIE!" Cookie Monster screamed in Elmo's face with raising volume.

Elmo sensing that CM was not to be messed with in this state held the cookie out timidly.

Cookie Monster being the character he was snatched the cookie and gazed at it admiringly before stuffing it in his mouth accordingly with the usual munching noises. As it so happens the director saw all this and quite intelligently decided that it was time to bring cookies back into CM's life and show before someone got hurt.

And so that is the story of how Cookie Monster got to eat cookies again.

A/N: for all those who read this and have no frickin' idea what the hell it was on about with the celery I shall explain.

The board of governs on ABC television thought that CM's habit of eating cookies was a bad influence so they replaced the cookies with vegetables. Well the ratings as predictable when down and after some time they changed it back.

Well my friend and I have plush toys. She a Cookie Monster and me an Elmo and we were laying in bed at my fathers one night and as usually happens at sleepovers we came up with the stupidest conversations and this story was one of them.
