"Argh!" Bunny slapped another mosquito on his arm, dropping yet another marshmallow into the fire.
The guardians sat around a camp fire, trying to roast marshmallows. Tooth was roasting about ten at a time to share with her fairies. North was telling ghost stories and paying no attention to his marshmallow, which had been burning for the past five minutes. Sandy stayed further from the fire, because fire and sand makes glass, and the Sandman isn't made out of glass. He used a very long stick and had Jack cool it down before eating it. Bunny was slapping mosquitos and dropping his marshmallows into the fire, never getting to eat any.
"Hey North, could we call it a night?" Bunny asked, dropping another marshmallow. "These bloody mosquitos are eating me alive!"
"But I vas just at good part!" North protested.
"Bunny's right," Tooth scratched at a bug bite. "Even my fairies are getting attacked by bugs." Baby Tooth nodded.
"But I like it out here!" They turned to Jack, who was protesting through a mouth full of marshmallow.
"Aren't you getting bitten too?" Bunny asked as he lost another marshmallow to the fire. "The only reason Sandy isn't because he's made out of sand."
Jack pulled his marshmallow out of the fire, blowing on it to turn it into the perfect gooey marshmallow-ey goodness, at the perfect temperature. "Well, I guess they don't like me, because I've never gotten bug bites."
"Th-that's not fair!" Bunny protested.
"Well," Tooth started slowly. "When Jack fell through the ice, he froze."
"So...?"
"So his blood is frozen and mosquitos drink blood, but they can't when it comes to Jack,"
"Does that mean that Jack will never get bug bites!?"
"Pretty much," Tooth nodded.
"Th-that's not fair!" Bunny threw a stick into the fire.
"Life isn't fair, Kangeroo."

AN: I wrote this while visiting my great aunt and there were ten billion bugs around her house and we were doing a fire and so I figured it would be a funny story to write.
