Thank You for Everything I Didn't Deserve
I tried, Sensei.
I did just as you told me,
And then I still couldn't do it.
But you stayed by my side and helped me.
And I got it.
They said no, Sensei.
I said it just like you told me,
And they still wouldn't let me.
But you stood by my side,
And they let me.
You stood there and risked everything.
You grew stronger.
You made me stronger.
And even when I failed,
You stood by me.
So thank you,
For everything I didn't deserve.
For being a light in the dark.
For giving me hope, and spirit, and strength.
