This is a poem I thought of when I read a news story on the internet. Hope you like it. Please review afterwards.
A Confusing Day
The best day of your life can be the worst day.
For you never want to hear the doctor say
"I'm sorry ma'am your baby is dead"
Then your heart feels like a block of lead.
They take your child away,
But you know how you are going to pay.
You want one last picture of your child,
For you know this nightmare is wild.
You enter the cold, emotionless room
But a box on a table you know is a tomb,
That holds your pride and joy,
The one, the only, your baby boy.
They remove the cover from the box,
You look inside and hear something that shocks
The tiny cries,
When you know you aren't saying your goodbyes
They take away the alive mystery,
For you need to know the medical history.
Because as you approach the bad guy
You wonder why, why?
For the worse day became your best day.
I know there are some punctuation errors but I did my best to find them and fix them. Please review on how you liked it all.
