A/N: this is for my ever supportive classmates, and for the ENG20: THE GAME casts and crew ( . ?fbid=381131438588992&set=a.321373374564799.67186.100000764164260&type=1&theater) , CONGRATS TO US! And may the odds ever be on OUR favor! CHEERS! =)

"The odds were never on our favor- and oh, I forgot, there was no 'OUR' in the first place."

Taylor Swift's "Safe and Sound" signaled Hinata to enter the stage. Slowly, she felt the audience' stare as the spotlight focused on her direction. Her head was down, grieving for the loss of her hero. He was lying a meter away from her, and she felt her knees started to melt like ice cream.

Though that was the last part, it was her least favorite part of the whole presentation. Not that she had a hard time internalizing her character, a princess who fell in love with her soldier; it's just that the role was very critical; it's very much similar with her situation, she being in love with HIM.

She knelt in front of him, lifted his head and rested it upon her lap. She started touching his face, remembering how she wished he was not her soldier, reminiscing the times he'd risked his life in exchange of hers- very much similar to their real life. He was her personal body guard who was asked to replace the actor who eloped with her girlfriend the day before this stage play.

She loved him secretly, like the princess she was portraying. In silence, she fell in love with her protector…
Holding still her gaze to the soldier, she spotted that dagger near them. Following the script, she picked it and slowly directed it on her chest.

"Aishiteru…"

"That was awesome Ma'am!" Naruto exclaimed at the backstage after the presentation. "How I wish I could join on your play again!"
She laughed softly on the mischief of the person she loved the most.
"Ey Naruto-baka, Sakura is here," interrupted Tsunade, their stage manager.
"Sakura!" his smile went from ear to ear.
"Congratulations!" she said before she went running from the door to his loving, waiting arms.

Now, this is the real tragedy. The tragic scene of watching her personal body guard hugging his fiancée.
