Hermione kissed him hurriedly and pulled him in for a tight hug.
"Be careful" she whispered sincerely. He chuckled lightly at her.
"Aren't I always" he said sarcastically.
"No" she said playfully hitting his arm. He pulled her out at arms length to look at her.
"You're so beautiful Hermione" he said brushing some hair from her face, so light that if she hadn't been paying any attention she would have missed it. She blushed slightly at the comment but allowed him still to look at her. "I'll be careful" he whispered. "I promise" she nodded once and allowed him once again to pull her in for a tight hug. He kissed the top of her forehead. "We'll be together when this is all over, I promise"
"Don't make too many promises"
"Why not?"
"Because you can't keep them all" he sighed and looked down at Hermione, tilting her head but so they were eye to eye.
"I always keep my promises" he said before his lips meet hers. He kissed her, hard and passionately and she responded with the same intensity. He whispered sweet nothings in her ear and promised her again and again as he trailed a line of kisses down her neck.
"I have to go" he whispered into her ear. She nodded once and looked up and him, admiring his white blonde hair that was tousled and his deep gray eyes.
"I love you Draco" she said as she hugged him again.
"I love you too Hermione" he said hugging her tight once before starting to walk to the door. "I promise" he said before he left. Little did Hermione know that this time he would break his promise.
