This is a small spin-off from chapters 17 and 18 of my story Dear Marauder.

If you have not read that story I shall quickly explain what you need to know: James and Sirius have decided that they are the Kings of Sense because they don't see why Remus doesn't think they have any (sense that is).

Disclaimer: I own none of the rights to Harry Potter. Such is life.

A list of decrees by The Kings of Sense, King James Potter and King Sirius Black:

1. We must be addressed as "Your Majesty" or "Your Awesomeness"

2. Any duties, royal or otherwise, may be redirected to Royal Advisor, Duke of Exasperation and Chocolate Remus Lupin. (This includes: questions about royal decrees, organizing of any royal events, and the homework or the kings).

3. The Kings are allowed to randomly burst into song if they so choose to and should expect no repercussions from such outbursts.

4. Similarly, the Kings are allowed to organize "Musical Days" in which people must go around singing when anything of even slight importance happens.

5. Certain houses aren't as good as the others (Slytherin), and some are far better (Gryffindor ).

6. Pranking is allowed on any day, particularly by the Kings themselves. The only people, who are not allowed these pranking privileges, are those that are members of the previously mentioned house that is not as good as the others (Slytherin).

7. Every Monday students are allowed an extra hour to sleep.

8. Midnight snacks are provided. This is to avoid having to walk down to the kitchens at 12.30 and waking the afore mentioned Royal Advisor/Duke, as this seems to piss him off rather a lot.

9. Once a month there shall be a holiday that shall be known from now on as "The Holiday of Awesome". This holiday shall take place on the 7th of every month. The holiday will consist of a day off school and pranking is the accepted method of celebration.

10. There shall also be a holiday on the birthdays of either of the Kings, The Royal Advisor/Duke, and the Royal Fool (Peter Pettigrew).

11. The Kings are allowed to ask any student out, and this student must not respond in a negative manner (i.e. cursing, punching, insulting). It would be recommended that said student accepts.

12. Only the Kings can bestow any knighthoods, and make anyone a Duke/Duchess.

Anyone to be found to be ignoring the rules outlined in these decrees shall be punished depending on the severity of their crime.

"You know no one is ever going to agree to this, right?"

"Why do you have such little faith in us, oh Duke?" said the boy with glasses set lopsidedly across his face, still writing on the piece of parchment.

"I think I have many reasons, James. Do you want me to list them alphabetically or chronologically?" The tired looking boy replied with a slight smirk.

"Why don't you just sort them by colour?" The other boy who had been scribbling on the parchment replied with a cheeky grin.

"Sirius, I think Remus is right. No one else will agree to these rules. Particularly not the teachers, and there is no way Lily's going to agree to number 11." A small blonde boy piped up.

"Oh she's going to have a small fit." Sirius said chuckling.

"But don't worry, Pete" James said, a grin finding its way across his already mischievous features.

Remus sighed. "You know saying things like that only makes me worry more don't you? What have you done this time?"

The 'Kings' looked at each other, identical smirks spreading across their faces. They looked toward the other two and said simultaneously. "We've already sent everyone copies".

YAY THE KINGS OF SENSE! I'm not sure if I'm going to make chapters for each decree. We'll see wont we? Or will we?
