New Beginnings

~In the Southern Water Tribe~

Korra is sleeping in bed until Ikki and Meelo wakes her up by making lots of noise outside her room.

She sits up out of bed and stares out the window wondering where Amon is, And what happened to Tarrlok.

Tenzin knocks on the door

_Avatar Korra

-Yes Tenzin

_We just received news about Tarrlok

-What?! Where is he?!

_In Republic City .He's in jail, He was caught trying to sneak onboard a Cargo Ship. He was badly hurt in an accident before but he's being treated there.

-What?! Is he alright?

_We don't Know. But I'm going to Republic City again to check up on him and ask him about Amon's disappearance.

-Wait I'm coming with you.

_I think it's best if you don't.

-You can't stop me from going.

Tenzin sighs

_We'll go tomorrow

Next Day:Republic City

Korra eagerly wakes up and gets dressed and is ready to go. She and Tenzin arrive in Republic City at the station.

Lin sees them and leads them to where Tarrlok is.

When they arrived at his cell, Lin told Tarrlok that Avatar Korra and Tenzin are here to speak to him.

Tarrlok: Can I speak to them one at a time?

Lin looks at Tenzin

Lin: Is that alright with you Tenzin?

Tenzin: Yes it is. I would like to speak to you first.

Lin and Korra exit and Korra waits outside. ~minutes later~

Tenzin comes out and tells her

_ Are you ready to talk to Tarrlok?

-Yes.

Korra walks back to Tarrlok's cell. She sits beside him.

Tarrlok: I know that you still hate me.

Korra: No I don't! I was worried about you when Tenzin told me that you were in an accident. Are you Alright?

Tarrlok: Yes I'm fine, You don't have to worry. I'm sorry about what I did before. I.. want to tell you why I really wanted you to join my task force before..

Korra: What? What do mean?

Tarrlok blushes.

Tarrlok: I wanted you to join my task force because I liked it when you were by my side fighting along with me and I didn't want Amon to hurt you , But I ended up doing that more than him. But the truth is the first time I met you I fell in love with you and I always admired you since the beginning.

Korra blushes.

Tarrlok: I love you, Avatar Korra.

Korra: I..never knew that..

Tarrlok: Well, now you know the truth.

Tarrlok leans and kisses Korra.

Korra blushes and leans away, Tenzin came back and told Korra that they had to leave now because their boat was about to leave.

Tenzin and Korra leave but Korra looked like she wanted to stay longer.

Meanwhile Tarrlok lays down in bed looking at a picture of Korra.
