Once upon a time in a land far far away there was a prince. But this prince did not want his life. All he wanted was to create the most precious and beautiful thing, music. You see in this kingdom there were two things more precious than gold. Real, honest-to-goodness love, the kind you find in fairy tales. And music, real beautiful, flowing music. It happened that he had a talent for making music, but his parents disapproved and wished instead that he'd take up an interest in his kingdom, for they were famous for their quality mattresses. It happened that in another kingdom, one known for music that there was a princess, waiting and dreaming for her true love to come and sweep her off her feet. This young princess also had a gift of musical sorts. One day this magical twinkling princess disappeared off the face of the earth and in a kingdom far away a prince felt his heart break, that night he locked himself in his bedroom and cried, he sobbed for what he didn't know, he felt as though half of his soul had been ripped away from planet earth and I daresay, it really was. For you see, this beautiful princess had met a very broken, beaten traveler, a man called the Doctor. And they traveled among the stars in such a fantastical way that never was seen the likes of before, because the princess had a knack for fixing things, and she hoped she could save this broken, love torn man, who had his soul ripped in half and part was left in another world. Trapped, with a pink and yellow girl who kneeled on a beach crying, sobbing, and weeping. And this remarkable man took her to many places, but most remarkably to an island, many thousands of years in the past of another planet so much like her own. She and the man discovered a boy, a boy who reached out and seem to say with one tear sliding down his face. "Help me." They discovered that this boy had given up everything. Everything. For a girl whom he held in his heart with such an honor he nearly worshipped her. This boy had been a king. A king who ruled with his brother and cared so deeply for those he loved. But his true love had not loved him back, and so another soul was ripped in half. These three appeared to be misfits, outcasts, in every place they traveled. A man with a blue suit and trench coat, eyes puffy from the tears he tried to hide. A girl with a crown on her head and a lavender dress, trying to figure out why she felt sad, and a boy in skinny jeans and wearing a crown, eyes haunted from the love he could not deny as long as he lived. They met a man that the Doctor once knew, a man who could not die until he was nothing more than the face of Boe. A man who was happy and joyous! For he had found a fallen in love with a girl born of humans but born in a vortex, this girl was called River. And this deathless man swore he would heal these broken people. And he did. The Princess he took to a land wear a prince had locked himself in a tower room and the king he took to his castle to see how the girl had nearly gotten himself killed for him and the man he left in his magical blue box but ripped a girl out of the universe she was trapped in, and left her to the man whom she had fallen so hard so fast for.
