This is kind of stupid, but, I wanted to write a ZeLink story with some humor. I think Toon Link is a tad on the OOC side, but hey, I'm not perfect.

"That was some battle today, Zelda." Said Link, walking with the princess down the corridor of the Super Smash mansion, "You fought well." Zelda smiled, "You thought so? Thank you." He smiled back at her, and playfully jabbed her in the side with his elbow. "You must have gotten the Final Smash Orb two times." Her cheeks turn slightly pink, remembering the battle. She had knocked Link off the stage both times, "I'm…really sorry about knocking you off the stage." she looked up at him, he kept his eyes forward, off in thought. "Oh," his eyes jumped back to her, "That's ok, you shouldn't be sorry." He put a hand on her shoulder. Then they had entered their hall. The mansion was divided up into hall according to the worlds people were from. Some halls had several rooms, others were quite lonely with just one or two, they used the extra spaces there for spectators and overflow.
Link walked Zelda to her door, she fiddled with the key for a bit, then looked up at him, "This is 'goodnight', then?" she asked shyly. He gave a half smile and sighed, "I guess." The two stood there frozen, neither wanted to leave. "Link, I-" she stopped mid sentence and shook her head, "Nevermind." Link perked up for a second, then his eyes fell to the ground, and hers followed. He huffed and his brow furrowed, C'mon Link, you've been through the land of Twilight! You can handle this. He looked back up at her, "Zelda." He began confident, she looked up, then all of a sudden found his arms around her and she had been pulled into a hug. The pair blushed in unison, he had touched her before, but, never had there bodies been so close.
He pulled away, arms still locked around her waist. He smiled, and she tried to keep her joy subtle behind her smile. She reached her hands to wrap around his neck, and leaned in close. Within that embrace, it had felt like a door had been opened, but, just cracked. Zelda wanted to fling the door open and rip it off its hinges if need be. He leaned in to her as well, and soon enough their lips were locked. They pulled their bodies closer together and deepened their kiss. This was it, their feelings had been revealed, there were no more secrets, now all that they-
"Ahem." A small voice coughed in the background. Zelda and Link immediately parted to glare at the intruder, their faces went pale. There stood Toon Link, smiling like an idiot, "Are you two done yet?" he snickered. "Uh…" Link didn't know how to counter, until he heard another voice. "What are you doing just standing there, boy?" said the booming voice of Ganon, walking in and standing beside Toon Link. His eyes widened slightly, Toon Link burst out in laughter. Zelda and Link jumped back from each other and started blushing. Zelda struggled to get the key into her door, "I-I'm sorry, g-goodnight!" she stammered, and threw the door open, slamming it behind her. Toon Link wiped his watery eyes from laughing to hard, "I'm really glad you guys quit early today." He said, brushing past the embarrassed Link into his room. Ganondorf and Link stood alone in the room, he just folded his arms over his chest, and retired to his room. Link sighed, and glanced toward Zelda's door once. He smiled, and scratched the back of his neck, still blushing a bit, "Maybe some other time." He muttered, entering his room.
