Ethan lugged 4 large suitcases through the airport. Two backpacks hung off each shoulder. After seeing cal betray him again Ethan didn't want to stick around anymore, he'd booked a flight to Pennsylvania in America after getting a consultants job.
He hadn't told cal he was going. Just left a note on the table saying "one time to many caleb, goodbye" Ethan went through customs feeling excited he'd only been to America twice for short stays. The hospital that he was going to had upgraded his flight to first class. Because they take care of their staff.
Once he had boarded the plane Ethan looked out of the small cabin window. "Goodbye Holby" he whispered smiling as the plane started to move. 10 hours later and Ethan had arrived in Pennsylvania. He collected his luggage and headed for the hospital to meet his new boss.
"Dr hardy!" A voice called it was the man he video called about the job "I'm mr shipman, head consultant here at Pennsylvania state emergency department"
"Nice to meet you!" Ethan smiled shaking his hand.
"You will have accommodation with 2 other consultants who work here! Jackie and erin! They are younger than you so look after them" mr shipman smiled. Already Ethan thought he was nicer than Connie "Let's show you to your staff accommodation house to get you settled in"
The staff houses were around the corner from the hospital. They were thin 3 story houses on a busy street. "Ladies!" The boss shouted unlocking the door. "This is Ethan! Your new housemate look after him!"
Mr shipman left them alone.
"Heya Ethan! I'm Erin" one of the young ladies spoke in a English accent.
"Hi I'm Jackie" the other one said obviously American.
"It's nice to have another British doctor around here! I've been the only one so far!" Erin smiled
"So where can I put my stuff?" Ethan smiled. His arms aching from carrying his Heavy luggage.
"Your room is a loft room so at the top" Jackie grinned.
"Thank you" Ethan smiled before going upstairs to check out his bedroom.
He opened the creaky door to find a well decorated room. The walls were blue, and the floor was wooden. Just like his bedroom back at home. He unpacked his things, putting them into draws and hanging them up before hearing a knock on the door.
"Everything ok in here?" Erin smiled
"Yeah fine" Ethan smiled at the brunette stood in front of him.
"Were on the same work schedule!" Erin looked at Ethan's neatly pinned up paper on the wall. "Cool! You'll have to show me around the place tomorrow if that's okay!"
"Yeah that's fine!" Erin giggled
