Toph centric, because she rules, and I've been feeling in the mood to write today, with Animefest coming up, and School starting. In Ba Sing Se, because the Tale of Toph and Katara really got to me. Plus Katy Perry's song ' One of the boys' helped write this too.

Rate, Comment, Review.

And no I do not own ATLA. If I did, they're be some kick-butt Avatar girls action figures!

Sometimes, she felt like the odd man out.

She was one of the boys, the one who didn't mind bugs, the one who hated shopping.

When the group went out, she'd chat with Katara, and Suki, and even Mai, when they got her to talk. She didn't have any juicy gossip, nor any type of girly feelings. She laughed at the racy jokes the boys told, when Sokka would tell ad bad joke and all the girls would roll their eyes.

She wanted to be one of the girls, but she didn't know how.

She wanted to be like them, no matter how much her pride strongly advised against it.

She wanted to be noticed as a girl, not just a friend. She wanted to to be one of the girls, a girly-girl, womanly like Katara, bubbly like Ty-Lee, and sexy like Suki.

I just wanna be a flower, not a dirty me. I wanna be beautiful, not shrouded in hiding underneath this tough exterior.

" I know I don't do girly that well. That's the great thing about being blind, I don't have to care about appearances." she said to Katara, after that one fateful day at the spa.

" That's what I really admire about you Toph, your so strong. You don't care what anybody thinks about you. And for the record, your really pretty."

She wasn't just one of the boys, but not just one of the girls.

She was her, and that's all the mattered.
