Abby knelt down in front of the grave, tears already streaming down in front of her face. She hesitantly touch the headstone; as if the feel of human flesh would replace the cold stone.

"Sometimes, life seems like chapters of goodbyes."

I can hear the truck tires coming up the gravel road

And it's not like her to drive that slow

Nothings on the radio

Footsteps on the front porch I hear my doorbell

She usually comes right in

Now I can tell

It couldn't have been no more than a month ago. Kate had invited her to spend the weekend with her; Kate's cabin being the destination. She had agreed; she could never deny Kate.

But Kate had to go an get herself shot, killed! God when she found out, she had been devastated; leaving NCIS and driving straight to the cabin. She made sure to take the time off; she couldn't go back, not yet.

And I can see it written on her face

That she had never felt this way

One day I thought I'd see her with her daddy by her side

And violins would play here comes the bride

Kate was going to propose to her, she found out from Kate's dad. She had planned everything out; that's why Kate had invited her once again. They were going to get married.
