Buffy sat by the window of her Cleveland apartment. The snow was coming down, and there was nothing but silence. There was almost no noise at all since Dawn had gone off to College in New York. It would be her second Christmas away from Sunnydale. And the previous one had been a lonely one. But, Buffy had a feeling that since the gang was back together again, it would be awesome.
She got up and went to the kitchen for her morning coffee. Then, she headed down to the school. She misjudged the temperature, and was only half regretting walking to work. But, as the snow fell lightly onto her, she remembered why she had wanted to walk in the first place: she had only ever experienced one snow storm.
That memory made her think of that first snow, which made her think of Angel, which made her think of Sunnydale. When she walked in to the teacher's lounge, Xander and Willow were sitting at the table, talking.
They all went through the motions of the day, then met up at Willow's house for Wednesday dinner.
"So, anyone else miss Sunnydale?" Buffy asked, spooning some mashed potatoes onto her plate.
"Sunnydale? The Hellmouth? Where all of us almost died a bunch of times? Where you actually did die? The place where we have all lost at least two people to the wrath of evil? Oh yah, missing it like crazy." Xander said, sarcastically.
"Oh, come on, Xander." Willow said with a smile. "All of our best times happened in that town. Like the time we all burst into song."
"And almost spontaneously combusted?" Xander asked. Willow just rolled her eyes.
"There must be something about Sunnydale that you remember fondly."
"Sure, there are plenty." He said, then began to think. Finally, he slowly nodded his head and said, "When we blew up the high school."
The all laughed and smiled. "Good times." Xander joked.
"I say we go back to Sunnydale." Buffy said out of no where.
"Why-" Xander started to say, but was cut off by Willow squealing.

On Christmas day, the Scoobies appeared on the old dusty road that had once led to Sunnydale. They all looked at the crator, and all the memories came flooding back. Of their lost friends, of their town, of the final battle.
It was all so... strange. When they drove away, they thougth that they wouldn't be coming back. But, now, here they were, standing infront of what had been Sunnydale.
"Hmm." Xander said, looking at his friends, then looking back at the crator.
"Who says you can't go home?"
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!
