IMPORTANT! READ THIS: Ok, this is Silver, only re-done. I didn't like the first one, so I just deleted it then started over. Now LISTEN to the meaning of the title. (This was supposed to be in the summary, but there was no room) Ok, Beastboy, first off, is a changling, meaning that he can change into different creatures and whatnot. A changling can also mean, however, someone who changes to fit their surroundings, kind of like a chameleon AND Robin. A Changling is also something that fits into its situation, and changes because of a problem or change in their life… like Silver!

Beastboy's POV

Prologue

Robin has always gotten what he wanted.

It's that simple.

If Robin wanted it, Robin got it.

Robin was the Jump City Golden Child. He was our leader and one of us. He was swooned over by hyper pre-teen and teen girls, who jumped around and screamed happily whenever we went out to fight. Girls who swarmed around him once the fight was done, wanting autographs, articles of clothing, dates, and possibly sex. He was copied by the males of Jump City, who imitated his walk and style of speech, not only because they felt they would catch more chicks that way, but they also felt it would somehow boost their status, that maybe if they acted like him, some of his perfection would rub off on them. He was admired by the children, who would rush away from their mothers once a fight was done to look up at Robin with wide eyes and dropped jaws, asking how he would do all that stuff. No ever asked the rest of us how we did stuff, but I suppose a green changling, a cyborg, a flying half demon, and an alien who could fly and shoot green fire were all too common.

I was jealous of Robin, extremely jealous. I didn't understand what made him so special. Why he was so "golden" or whatever. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who was jealous, but none of the other Titans seemed to show it like I did. I guess they were better at hiding it. Or maybe there was something wrong with me, and I was the only one who was jealous.

I didn't hate him though. I never hated or resented him, not until he did what he did to Silver.

What he did to me…

What he did to us…

I hate him for that. I hated him then, and I hate him now.

And I will probably go on hating.

Ok, people, I'm not asking much, just asking you to take 3 seconds to push that review button and tell me what you think. It'll take 3 seconds and it'll make me VERY VERY HAPPY! PLEASE!
