OoOoO

This was not the first thing I expected to see when I ran into the random 1960s police phone box, shut the door, and turned around. What I expected to see was, well, a phone box. What I actually saw was, well, not a phone box.

I should have questioned it when I saw it just sitting there in the middle of the woods. Because, in all honestly, what the heck? But then I went inside, just to escape the huge bear chasing me, and shut the door.

It was like walking into Narnia. The room was huge. It seemed to stretch on forever, out through a hallway with doors that suggested it was even bigger than where I was standing. But it was just a police box on the outside!

The first thing that caught my eye was the tacky yellow color on the walls and the huge console in the center of it all. It was insane and strangely steam punk, with random buttons and levers and even a typewriter. Then I heard a voice with a British accent booming from somewhere deeper in the room.

"How did you get in here?" A man steps into view, with a young face, but yet with such old, old eyes. He had sweeping hair, and was attired in a bow tie, suspenders, and a tweed jacket, and I held back a laugh despite the circumstances I was in. "You! I'm talking. My TARDIS! How did you get in?"

"I just, uh, opened the… door and, uh, walked inside—I'm sorry, your what?" I'd never heard anything like it. And I'm a psychologist. I hear things.

"You what?" He completely ignored my confusion, sounding alarmed and angry, stepping towards me. Frightened, I shrunk even further against the door as he quickly approached me.

"What?" My voice came out in a squeaky, hollow sound.

"So you just opened up the door and walked inside?"

"Yes…?"

"Entire planets and armies and the strongest energies in the universe have been unable to get through that door and even the end of the universe has been unable to penetrate her walls and you just opened the door and walked inside?" He paused, thoughtful. "What makes you so different?"

"Uh," I said, groping the air for words. "I was being chased by a bear?"

Suddenly, he turns away, attitude completely changed. "TARDIS, stands for Time and Relative Dimensions In Space. Anywhere you want to go, anything you want to do in all of time and space. She can take you there. I'm the Doctor, by the way." He fixed his bow tie and smiled in my direction. "Just the Doctor." He pulled a random lever on the console. Me, completely unable to react, just stood there. "I can have you home before supper." He smiled again. "Geronimo!"

OoOoO

So I basically just wrote a bunch of these O.o

It's perfect timing, for me, personally, because Karen's leaving the show, so I can write about WHATEVER NEW COMPANION I WANT [-cough-me-cough-]. And while I did like Amy and I adored Rory to the bone, I would have honestly preferred to see them go after season 5 because I wish Matt had gotten the opportunity to travel with as many companions as David did.

So, this was based on a prompt from creative writing class. For some reason, all my assignments have randomly turned into Doctor Who fics. This is my most recent one. Of course I'd post them all backwards. Well, anyways, reviews? I hope you loved it~
