"I wish things were different."
Irelia thought as she was strolling in the forest. She felt a cold but pleasant breeze on her skin, as she ventured further into the forest, while reflecting on the past.
"I guess life isn't meant to be easy and forgiving"
Irelia thought, while looking onto the floating blades beside her. No matter how hard she tried to forget about her past, at least for awhile, the blades following her would always be a reminder of what had been done. She is a living hero but...
"Sometimes I wonder how would it be if I died there...maybe it would...no,no, I shouldn't think that way, Soraka did everything for my sake..."
She was already far into the forest so she decided to go back to the city, she needed some rest after all. While going back, she still was in deep thought"
"Or maybe...everyone thinks of it as a precious gift...but it always feels like a floating curse...they can't know what I feel because of this..."
She thought of all the people looking at her in the city. Everyone was respecting her for what she did for the country, but on the other hand... everyone eyed her with disgust, like if she was a monster. She hates it, she hates it so much her blood boils.
"AHHH!" - With as much force as she could gather, she hit a tree. After that, her anger has fallen off, but her hand was getting sore.
"I just wish... things were different."
As she reached the city, she used a secret passage to slip into it, and took road straight to her home. After she got into it, she went to the bathroom, took some bandages and wrapped them around her hand.
"I need to control my anger. Otherwise I'll get some severe damage one day."
After that, she took a quick shower, went to her bedroom and laid on the bed. From there she gazed onto the sky filled with stars.
"Do you think... I am ungrateful?"
But the stars were still shining the same way they did a while before.
"What am I thinking... of course you can't respond."
She looked back at her blades again, shining in the light of moon.
"Stupid blades." - She said as she got under her sheets and drifted off to sleep. At least in her dreams they wouldn't haunt her.
