Light and happiness is what I strive to remember
Never ending laughter echoing through the everlasting days
The golden sun consumes the room
I draw using the utmost depths of my imagination
Light glistens over the pool water which I seem to remember foggily
My friends and I giggle under the indestructible blankets of love
Food tastes better
Sleep lasts longer
Love is stronger
However, darkness envies the light which I contain
Darkness, although I cannot explain why, consumes me
It hushes the echoing of laughter
It shades the light which flood throughout my room
My drawings are no longer creative rather simple boxes
Darkness tore through the blanket of love and revealed the truthfully hurtful giggles
It weakened the taste of food
It slips into my short sleep
However, no matter how hard it may try
Darkness cannot destroy the love
I won't let it
