Final moments
Di.M.H."Hey guys I wanted to try something new, if you like my other stories then you'll love this one, please R&R,"
I lied there as the light left my eyes.
I could see my brother standing over me.
He looked like he was going to cry.
I gave him a weak smile.
"I'm sorry Noll," I said.
I reached a hand up to touch his cheek but he vanished.
I was in total darkness.
The water was pressing into my chest.
I thought about my life and how I've lived it.
My parents and how they would feel.
How Madoka and Lin will handle this.
But most importantly I thought of my brother.
What would be of him without me around him?
I closed my eyes as I decided one last time I would hear my brother's voice.
"I'm sorry Noll," I thought but no reply.
I knew it would never come.
Everyone I cared about flashed before my eyes.
The blood in my lungs was now coming up my throat.
My body was going numb.
This is how death was.
It was no quicker than falling asleep.
I wanted to tell Noll that.
A smile crossed my face as I made the last movement before my death.
I stood there was my body was being lifted out of the water.
She was there.
The girl that had mistaken me for my brother.
I watched as my body was set down onto the ground.
"I'll leave you alone," she said.
I sighed.
"For what?" I asked trying to sound like my brother.
"In case you want to cry or something," she answered.
"People die every day," I replied.
"I know," she said, "I wonder if my parents were alive then maybe I would have a little brother or sister."
I never took my eyes off my body.
"I like you," she said suddenly.
"I don't need anyone to care about me," I said.
"No," she said, "I mean more than a friend."
I smiled.
"Me or Gene," I asked pretending to be my brother.
"I don't know," she replied in tears almost.
She ran off.
The reason I had asked her that was because when a girl says that they love my brother: they normally mean me and since we're twins they confuse us a lot.
I wanted to protect my brother from the heartbreak.
I could see in his dreams that girl was special to him so I wanted to hear her answer.
I sighed.
She will hate him for what I had just said.
I looked at the direction she went.
A sad smile crossed my face.
"I'm sorry Mai," I said as I disappeared into the air.
I looked to see Noll walking toward my body.
I sighed again.
"I'm sorry Noll," I said in his head.
He turned to see me vanishing into the air.
He sighed.
"I'm sorry Gene," he said in my head.
I smiled at him.
We both were sorry that we couldn't be together anymore but at least I could leave him happy.
The last thing I saw was a bright light lifting me up into the sky.
I stared at the sun and welcomed its warm embrace.
The end,
