Alrighty folks. Just some fluff and a one-shot because I was bored. Don't tear me to shreds because it wasn't a real story. I think it's cute.
"Just for Clarity, you haven't been kissing anyone else?" asked Jace facing Clary
"As if I would be kissing anyone else," she said in mocking tone
"'Cause I'm too hot to pass up, correct?" said Jace advancing on her.
"Even in the most romantic of moments, you can ruin it by another comment about yourself"
"Well, I can't help my attractiveness," said Jace holding up his hands in surrender
"Always the confident one," she remarked
"You should be more confident in yourself too, Clary"
"Like what? Running around boasting about my abs?"
"Actually, that was meant to be a compliment. Not something for you to retort at."
"Not a very good compliment," muttered Clary under her breath.
"Don't underestimate my abilities my dear," he mused.
"And what is that supposed to mean?" she said putting her hands on her hips.
"Not to doubt me, ever?" he repeated.
"Didn't you just say that?"
"Clary, I meant to call you beautiful," he said cupping her face in his hands.
"Like I should believe you"
"Actually, you should. I know several females who would love your looks"
"Really?" She looked up into his bright golden eyes.
"Yes. In fact Isabelle is jealous of you at times."
"Funny," Clary said, clearly not buying it.
"Really! I told you, you just need more confidence."
"And why should I listen to you?" she said teasingly.
"You should listen to me because I am right," he replied matter-of-factly.
"This is from the boy who thinks that he could make water appear from nothing because he's that amazing"
"Okay. I see your point. But I know I'm right about this," he brought his face close to hers.
"Get real, Jace," said Clary trying to pull away, but his grip wouldn't allow her to.
"Everything about you is beautiful," he said looking deep into her eyes.
"That's exaggerating a bit don't you think," she replied melting into his arms.
"Hell no. Nothing would change my mind about this," he said firmly.
"Everything about you is perfect too," she started to blush. "In case you were wondering."
"Really?" He brought her lips in and brushed them softly and against hers, then pulled away quickly.
"For the love of God Jace, just kiss me already"
"Or what? You'll call me ugly?" he laughed making a point by keeping his distance a bit.
"Really want to go there, angel boy?" she groaned against him.
"Every time I see you I kiss you."
"Very nice, isn't it? She said bringing her in for another kiss. A real one this time.
"Every time I see you, I love you more than the last time I did, would be a better way to put it."
"Right back at you, Jace," she said between the long kisses of their sweet embrace.
