I was watching my favorite sitcom ever.
I do not own Parks and Rec.
Enjoy.
I will protect you from danger. Even if I have to fight a bear, or your mom, or him. I love you.
"April. Hey April! What the hell! April! What are you doing! The light is red!"
A screech of rubber sliding on pavement, a thud, a scream, and a great deal of footsteps hitting the ground.
A sense of shock and dumbfounded-ness in the mind of Andy Dwyer.
"Babe?" He called out.
But April didn't respond from 100 feet in front of him in the middle of the street.
"April!" He suddenly ran out into the street, pushing past all the people surrounding his wife.
He kneeled on the dark road and put his left arm under his wife's head.
"April! Hey April! Come on Babe, talk to me. I'm right here." He tried to sound calm. But he was freaking out on the inside.
"Babe... I... I... H-hate everything..." April paused, Andy suddenly noticed the red. The red covered road, April's red covered clothes, and his own red covered skin.
"B-but... I-I l-love y-you and J-Jack..." She raised her hand and touched his face, leaving streaks of red with her fingertips before her arm fell and she stopped breathing.
"April? Hey, April? If y-you don't wake up right now... I'll... I'll... ILL DIVORCE YOU!" He shouted, his beginning to leak tears. It had been forever since they had joked about that. Not since Jack was born.
But April didn't respond. April wasn't there anymore.
Andy had failed to protect her from danger.
And Andy didn't know how he would keep going. How he would keep taking care of Jack without the light of his life.
Without his wife.
Without his girlfriend.
Without his love.
Without April.
Well... that's it.
And I'm in the middle of my fourth re-watch of Parks and Rec and I'm enjoying every second of it.
