"What? Are you really going to marry Estonia?"
"Mhm."
"Well, I suppose you can't let those other guys overpower you . . . But . . . Why didn't you marry me, too?" Finland smiled in a playful sort of way at his friend. He knew that the only reason Sweden and Estonia were getting wed was so that he could take Estonia's land, but it was still a nice way to be invaded.
Instead of answering, however, Sweden walked out the door. Being a good friend of both of them, Finland could not help but feel a bit jealous of them, but that was a silly emotion to be feeling at a time like this. It was not like they had any special connections! Besides, nation marriage was nothing like human marriage. It wasn't a big deal! The important thing was that they would all be living under the same roof!
When the two of them returned, the thoughts of jealousy were wiped away.
"Estonia!"
"Finland!"
The two of them had not seen each other in a while, so they ran to each other and unified with a hug.
"How have you been, Estonia?" Finland asked with his typical smile.
"Pretty overwhelmed, actually," Estonia answered. "I'm glad Sweden decided to annex me."
"Well, that's good! Well, since you're moving in, why don't you go unpack your things?"
Estonia nodded and then proceeded to his new bedroom. Sweden followed.
For the next few weeks, Estonia and Sweden did not talk to each other much. The only time they would really speak to each other was when Finland made them. While this was not unusual for Sweden, Estonia would usually have tried to get to know Sweden better by now. Did they not like each other? Or were they hiding something?
Then, one day, late in the evening, the two seemed to have disappeared. Where could they have gone, Finland thought as he scoured the house looking for them. At last, he found them in Sweden's room on the bed. But . . . what were they doing? Sweden was on top of Estonia, both of them had their eyes closed, and their faces were pressed together . . . Oh. Oh. The thoughts of jealousy Finland had felt earlier about the two getting married were confirmed. They were making out.
