Second Annual Triwizard Tournament: Theme: Ginny. Restriction: Must include a journal entry, letter, or something similar.

Dear Tom,

Some strange things have been happening here at Hogwarts. People have been attacked, but luckily no one has died. I fear that it'll only get worse before it gets better. And it's weird... I don't remember being up where Mrs. Norris was attacked, but I woke up some hours later in an empty classroom in that corridor, the hems of my trousers were wet. That has been happening a lot lately. I've been waking up in random places and most times I am covered in blood and rooster feathers. I am scared, Tom. I want to confide my worries to someone, but my brothers would just laugh at me. I have some friends, but none that I feel like I can share this with.

Everyone thinks that it is Harry causing this. Something called the Chamber of Secrets has been opened, and Harry is the Heir of Slytherin. The boy that most recently, as well as a load of others, saw Harry speak to a snake. But I don't think Harry is the Heir... Harry's not that way. He is kind, brave, and he is the one who defeated You-Know-Who. It just doesn't make sense. What do you think, Tom? Has anything like this ever happened?

Bye for now,

Ginny.

Ginny waited anxiously for Tom's reply. The ink had disappeared nearly five minutes ago. Tom usually replied within a minute, so she wasn't sure why there was a delay now. Two more minutes went by, and then finally she saw words forming on the page.

Ginny,

I am so sorry that you are confused and scared. I can only imagine how it might be. But as you said in your entry before this, the message said 'Enemies of the Heir beware'. I would think that would mean muggleborns, don't you? I am sure that you will be fine...

As for Harry being the Heir of Slytherin, well, I wouldn't rule it out just yet. You did say that he could talk to snakes, after all. Also that the boy who was attacked this past time had been the one that was initially afraid of Potter. It all sounds a little condemning to me. I am sure you're right though...

Ginny, close your eyes, and clear your mind.

Ginny did as Tom said. He's told her to do this many times, and it seems to calm her but... Ginny's eyes snapped open. It was him, or at least the diary, that was making her black out and end up in strange places. Every time there was an attack and every time Ginny woke up covered in blood and feathers, she had been writing in the diary minutes before. Or at least it only felt like minutes, but who knows how long she was out for.

Ginny stood and slammed the diary shut. She stuffed it into her cloak and then headed out of the dormitory. The common room was empty, which meant that everyone was down at breakfast. She exited through the portrait hole, and began walking, unsure of where her feet were taking her. At last, she arrived at the site of the writing on the wall. Angry, she ripped open the door of the girl's bathroom and went to the stalls. Without looking, she threw the diary into an open stall, and ran out, hoping that she never saw that diary again.
