I couldn't believe it still. After so many years- seven, to be exact- I hadn't heard a word from or about him. He'd disappeared suddenly, leaving no trace of himself whatsoever. Boris said he'd been taken away by Voltaire; I didn't question it, since Voltaire was the top dog at the Abbey. But now, I've seen him and know something happened.
He'd finally shown up. I finally saw the kid I knew so long ago, who was the only one I could actually trust… And he didn't even acknowledge me. He just ignored me as though I were a piece of trash in a landfill. It hurt me deep down; but I never showed it because Boris would know, no matter how far away I was.
I can't believe it… Boris finally told us why he isn't talking to us. He lost his memory of the Abbey; he didn't remember us at all. I hid my anger; Boris would punish me for it, even if it was aimed at my enemies. I'd show it during battle; that's when emotion is allowed. At least the stronger emotions.
I'd always clung to a sliver of hope I'd see him again; that he'd somehow find his way back to us. Now, it's paying off.
Finally, I found him. He tried to sneak in… How stupid is he? Trying to sneak into the Abbey is like trying to kill a god. It's impossible unless you're in your own world, which doesn't happen. Now I can confront him and tell him who we are really…
I jumped when he looked up. I recognized the crimson eyes looking back at me; I'd looked to them for more than he'd ever asked of me when I was younger. Now they asked the same of me: Help.
He remembered.
He actually remembers me and the Demolition Boys before this all.
Now, so long after the first World Championship, it's so easy to tell he fits with us. He doesn't really miss the Blade breakers; he does, but he wants to be with us more. He leaves us maybe once a year to visit, and even then for only a week or so, and he always complains when he gets back. But at least we do have him back with us, where he belongs.
At least he realized it and didn't keep running away from his past. Because that's like running away from us.
I looked at the dual-haired teen next to me. "So, why do you still visit the breakers if they're such pains?"
Kai smirked and laughed. "because if I didn't to keep them in line, Ray would go completely insane from Tyson, Max and Daichi."
Please, don't be a jerk and just leave. READ THIS AND TELL ME how it went, because I tried to say what I think Tala might have felt when Kai left suddenly, and then he found him at the first world championship. The song says she left with no way of contacting her, but he guessed where she went. Then she couldn't get to her ex, and she never could until finally she sat by and waited for him to call. This is kind of what Tala did, with Kai sneaking in like he did. Please, say what you think! It helps me know if I fail or if I'm up to your standards.
