"Therese, are you home?", said Carol as she closed the front door behind her. She didn't get a response, so she assumed Therese was still at work. It had been a stressful week for Carol and all she wanted was to spend the rest of her Saturday night with her girlfriend, but her plans were postponed.

Carol decided to take a bath to relax a bit while she waited for Therese to come back. She prepared the water, turned on the radio and entered the bathtub. As soon as she rested her head on the border of the bathtub, Carol felt her tense muscles staring to relax.

The radio was playing "No Other Love". This song reminded Carol of Therese and she started to miss her even more. "Where the hell is she?" asked Carol to herself. She tried to enjoy the song, but she found it very hard to concentrate on it, because she just couldn't get Therese out of her head. After an hour the young girl hadn't arrived yet, so Carol really started to worry. She got off the bathtub, put on a robe and dried her hair. She then went to sit in her favorite chair on the living room. Carol kept glancing at the clock expectantly, but time seemed to be passing very slowly.

As she was about to freak out for real, Carol heard the front door opening, "Carol?" she heard Therese calling. Carol came running and gave Therese a tight hug. "Where were you?" Carol said without letting Therese go. "I'm so sorry, Carol. I had to get something before coming back home from work, I didn't know it'd take this long." Therese looked at Carol and kissed her. "I'm really sorry. I hope that maybe this will make up for my lateness" Therese stretched her hand to Carol. The older woman hadn't seen that she was holding a nicely wrapped box. "What is this?" said Carol taking the box from Therese's hand. "It's a gift for you. Open it!" Therese couldn't hold her enthusiasm back. Carol loved to tease Therese when she was this enthusiastic, so she started to unwrap the present very slowly. "Come on, Carol! Don't do this!" Therese was almost jumping. Carol just laughed at her and continued to slowly unwrap it.

She finally opened the box and was thunderstruck with what was inside: a perfume. But it wasn't any perfume. It was exactly the one Harge had bought her years ago. It was her favorite perfume, but after they divorced she had stopped using it and threw the bottle out. "Did you like it?" Therese asked her. "I… I…" Carol couldn't say a thing. "Carol Aird is speechless? I must be very good at this surprising thing" Therese laughed at carol expression. "How? Why?" Carol was babbling again. "Well, you said to me that this was your favorite perfume, but that you couldn't wear it without remembering Harge. So I started to save some money after you threw the old one out and so now that I bought it to you, you can use it and don't remember Harge. You will remember me." Therese finished her explanation with a hopeful smile. Carol still couldn't say anything, so she did the only thing she could do: she wrapped her arms around Therese in a tight embrace and kissed her, showing all her love for the girl. "You are the best girlfriend in the whole world, you know? I love you so much" "I love you too, Carol" with that, Carol closed the gap between them once again in a passionately kiss.
