Author's Notes:: I love this ship to death and it saddens me that there aren't many fics featuring this lovely couple. Murasakibara's the kitsune that works under Inari, the fox god. The cherry blossom petals dance gracefully around him, his gaze facing the moon. His eyes twinkled underneath the luminescence the moon is giving him, a soft glow to his flawless pale complexion and making his smile ethereal. He is Ethereal; forever will he be the Emperor, the absolute power, as long as he has the authority on his fellowmen. They will never dare to defy him- the consequences are too dire.

"Aka-chin..." A masculine voice drawls his name behind him, pronouncing them slowly and carefully, as if they might break. "Why do the petals dance around you? Are you a sakura deity?"

The Emperor turns to the voice, shaking his head, "I am not. The wind is making them do so. How about you, I could ask you the same thing, Atsushi," he says, walking closer to the voice.

"Eh...? I'm a kitsune that was sent to protect Aka-chin. A century longer and I shall be a kyubi already. If I'm a kyubi already, I can protect Aka-chin fully from the dangers of this world even if it means my death." Atsushi replies, making his 8 bushy tails waggle. "See? I'm near."

Seijuro softly chuckles, shaking his head in disagreement. "You certainly cannot protect me all the time, Atsushi. I have duties to perform. I am not defenseless either; no one will ever dare to harm me, not even a single strand of my hair." He says, his left eye gleaming menacingly.

Atsushi smiles at him, before bending down slightly and hugging the smaller man. "Of course, you're the emperor after all; no one will defy you or harm you. Nevertheless, I will always be here, as Aka-chin's dog, his most faithful and loyal servant." He buries his face on the Emperor's shoulder. "As my starball will forever be yours, my life does too. The world shan't be entertaining or beautiful without you, Sei-chin."

"My, aren't you so romantic for today, Atsushi? Did you eat too many tofus for today?" Sejiuro asks, patting his back softly. "Of course you are, however, you are more than a servant to me, Atsushi."

"I am glad to hear that, Your Majesty." Atsushi smiles on his shoulder enjoying the warmth the other has to offer.
