Love is a strange thing. It comes in many forms, sizes and feelings. I knew that I loved her from the moment I saw her, but I needed her to love me back. This is my story on how I got Starfire to go out with me.
"So what are you doing tonight?" I asked Starfire.
"I thought that us could watch a scary movie, eat popcorn, drink soda and munch on candy until we puke."
"That's what we do every Saturday. I thought that maybe we could go to the newly opened amusement park and ride on the Ferris wheel."
"But wouldn't our friends be disappointed we went without them?"
"I already asked them. BB just said he had his own plans, Cyborg said he needed to fine tune his car and Raven, well she'll read, or meditate or do some Raveny thing."
"Lets go to this amusement park then." She then grabbed my hand and we left for Fun-o-rama.
At the amusement park
"So what do you want to ride on first?" I asked her.
"You said that we could ride on the Ferris wheel."
"I thought that maybe we could do that later and do some of the extreme rides first."
"What about that one?" Starfire asked while pointing at a sign that read, 'Puke master.'
"Um…sure," I said while scratching my head. She then dragged me over to the ride and we got on. As soon as the bar closed over us I knew that this wasn't going to be pleasant. During the whole ride, I was trying to not throw up and Starfire was just screaming with excitement. Once we got off I staggered to the toilets.
"What ride is this?" asked Starfire when she saw the signs that stood for man and woman. I just ran into the bathroom and threw up what I had eaten for dinner.
"Maybe we shouldn't go on another extreme ride for a while," I suggested.
"What about that one it doesn't seem extreme," she said while pointing to the room of a hundred nails.
"How about we go on the one next to it? The tunnel of love?"
"Fine by me." We then went over to the ride but saw that it was closed for repairs.
"Maybe we could go on the Ferris wheel you mentioned?"
"Sure." We took the long walk to the other side of the park just in time for the last ride of the day. As the Ferris wheel started rotating I could just feel 'the moment' coming. When we got to the top the Ferris wheel stopped. Some people were getting off. I then turned to Starfire and we looked into each other's eyes. I had never noticed how beautiful her eyes were before. Just then it seemed like an orchestra started playing sappy love music. I leaned in for the kiss. Her lips brushed against mine and I felt ecstatic. We broke apart and I knew this was to moment to ask her.
"Will you be my Girlfriend?"
Well I beat you can guess her answer…
Hi. I'm Beast Boy and I know this amazing girl. Her name is Raven and she is the prettiest girl I have ever met. You might think that she would never give someone like me a chance and well…you're right…for now. I guess I'll just tell you my most recent, and pathetic attempt at going out with her.
"What you reading?" I asked her as I sat down on the couch and started flipping channels.
"Nothing, of your concern." I just sat there flipping through a few more channels. Ew toe fungus…Starfire would have loved to watch this.
"So you want to go out with me."
"No."
"Ok." I then just flipped through a few more channels.
So there you go, my pitiful attempt at getting Raven to go out with me…hey I wonder who Cyborg likes. I mean Robin and Starfire are perfect, and if they don't get together soon, I think everyone will go insane. I of course like Raven and she likes me back…even if she doesn't show it. So I wonder who Cyborg likes.
I'm Cyborg and guess what? I love my car!
