"The Web" Rough Draft
Chapter 1
This is the story of my world, called "Internet". Made up of 5 lands; Media, Meme, Forgotten, Porn, and Dark Web. Each land is ruled by one supreme King, or "Site." The "Main Site" is the big papa, but there are always smaller Sites that rule over sections of the land. The ruler of Media is Site FaceBook, and his council of Site Twitter and Site Tumblr. Each with their own personalities keeping things interesting. In the Land of Meme, there are no "Sites", due to how their system of rule works, putting the most popular Meme in the throne until someone better comes along. The Land of the Forgotten is where the Memes and sites that get dried out and overused go to spend the rest of eternity hoping that enough people find them interesting enough to come back. The Land of Porn is, well… I doubt I need to describe that one. But the Dark Web… That's the place that not even the Main Sites are allowed to visit, as decreed by our lords Chrome, Explorer, and Firefox. Nobody is allowed in there, for it is home to the scum and monsters of Internet.
My name is *to be determined*.We common folk of each kingdom, known as "Users", populate the cities and kingdoms of Internet. I live in, and was born and raised in Media, the most common kingdom to be born in. We all have our roles to keep the kingdom in top working order. Some of us are judges, who critique new products to the Sites in order to keep them informed of current advancements. Then we have our law enforcements, the Moderators, whose job is to keep everyone in order and make sure the kingdom is safe. I'm what people call a Surfer. I travel the land in between kingdoms in search of trading and hunting. I am a part of a guild called Achievement Hunter, lead by Sir Ramsey and Knight Free.
This is where my story begins.
