Your Eyes

This a poem I wrote, which wasn't really based on anyone, until I started to think of Kalona, who is one of my favorite characters.

-Eyes-

I find myself
Staring into your eyes
No matter how many times I try
To look away

They look like stars
Stars that paint the black night
And light the way
For any lost souls

Your eyes glitter in the sun
And stand out infront of the moon
They flicker
And flutter
Like the wings of a butterfly

I see the way they close
And wish for your eyes to open once more
I wish to see them
Night and day
So I find my way
And escape the darkness

Your eyes stare into mine
Capturing my hear
Capturing my soul

Your eyes smile
From ear-to-ear
And they fill me with more happiness
Then any other thing in the world

I find myself
Staring into your soul
That shows no hint of sadness
Or anger towards
Any enemy that walks by

I see the sun
Within your eyes
And I feel the peace
That you wish for this world

I find myself
Watching you
And the way your eyes
Dance across the sky

Happiness fills my hearts
And stays there
Everytime I see your golden eyes
