Hey guys, this is just a random little one-shot I decided to write. Hope you like it. Review please! =D
"And stay out Ice King!" Finn shouted.
"You might have stopped me today, but I will defeat you!" Ice King snapped back and flew away.
Princess Bubblegum looked relieved.
"Thanks for saving the day once again boys," she said and gave Finn a hug.
"Hee hee... No problem princess," Finn blushed.
"Weeell," Jake interrupted, "it's getti'n dark out. Best be going home! Bye Princess Bubblegum!"
"Okay," the princess said and let go. "Be careful!"
"We will!" Finn said as he waved good bye.
"Man that was fun," Finn said and entered the fort. "But exhausting, too."
"Yeah," Jake said and got Beemo. "especially when you kicked Ice King's butt!"
He laughed.
"Yeah," Finn nodded. "That was fun."
Suddenly, something moved in the corner of the room. Finn noticed this, and took out his sword. "Show yourself trespasser!"
It slowly moved into the light. It was Susan Strong.
"Susan!" Finn exclaimed and withdrew his sword. "What up?"
"Oh ma god cuss, Finn!" Susan said.
"Oh, did I scare you? Sorry." he said.
Hey Finn, she's here, ask her now! he thought.
"Uh hey Susan," he said slowly, "I want to know..."
He got his hat off.
"...what are you? Are you like me? Can you take your hat off?" he asked.
Susan nodded sadly, and she slowly took her hat off. She was...hyooman. She had gills.
Tears started falling down Finn's face.
I knew this was too good to be true! So...I really AM the last human...
"Hey Susan," he said, wiping off the tears. "Do you want to do something today?"
Susan put her hat back on and stroked his back gently. "Finn, don't cry. Susan will cry too."
"I'm-I'm fine." he sniffed. "So, you guys up for another adventure?"
He tried to smile.
"Oh dude," Jake hugged him, "don't feel bad."
"Really, I'm okay..."
"Beemo hug you too!" Beemo said and hugged Finn.
Finn seemed to be cheered up. "Thanks guys."
I maybe the last of my kind, but at least I got friends by my side.
