Godly Love
Tsubaki, Maka, and the Thompson sisters were having a girls night playing truth or dare at Tsubaki's while the guys were out.
"Tsubaki truth or dare?" Maka smiled.
"Um. Truth." Tsubaki blushed. The other girls smiled at each other.
"Who do you like?"
"Who do I like? Oh. I like... no one after my last crush."
"Ha! Who do you think your fooling by that blush?" Liz smirked.
"Come on! Just tell us! You can trust us." Maka smiled.
"It's not the same since your dating Soul you don't get asked these questions!" Tsubaki whimpered. Maka blushed at that. Her and Soul have been dating for 2 months now.
"I bet he likes you back!" Patty reassured her.
"Fine, I admit I like someone."
"Who?" the other girls practically screeched.
Tsubaki played with her hair and stared at the ground for a while. After a deadly silence she finally whispered, "Blackstar."The other girls were not shocked but that doesn't mean they reacted well.
"I knew it! Mr. Girraffe you owe me 50 bucks!" Patty laughed.
"I knew there was a reason you could stand him for so long!" Maka smiled, "But I can see you like him a lot by the way you talk about him.
Liz was quiet for a while. She turned to Tsubaki with a serious look on her face. "You need to tell him tonight. When the guys get back you need to tell him." Liz told the blushing girl.
"Soul texted me and said they'll be here in 5 minutes." Maka smirked.
"No! No! I'm not ready! Cant I tell him another day?" Tsubaki whimpered.
"We can tell by the look in your eyes that this is more than a crush. You love him don't you?" Tsubaki promptly tried to deny Liz's question.
"There's no reason to deny it." Patty said so calmly it was scary.
"Well I guess I-" "Dont tell us. Tell him." Liz interrupted pointing at the now opening door. Tsubaki's face flushed.
"YAHOO! That was awesome! Tsubaki you will not believe how much I ate!" Blackstar yelled jumping onto the table. Liz and Patty linked arms with Kidd and walked out of the door. "Good luck!" Patty giggled. Soul briefly kissed Maka and Maka hugged Tsubaki.
"Everything will be fine. Just tell him the truth." Maka whispered so only Tsubaki would hear, then walked out the door with Soul. Tsubaki tried to be normally and find the right words wich were just mumbles of nonsense.
Blackstar looked at Tsubaki finally done ranting about his godliness seeing Tsubaki blushing and mumbling nervously. He jumped down and stood in front of her. He has grown up quite a bit so now he's at least two inches taller than jumped a bit and looked up at him. He had one of those rare serious troubled looks.
"Tsubaki is there something bugging you? Your god can help." He said sincerely. Tsubaki finally gained her courage and with a huge blush on her face and looked down at her feet.
"Blackstar, I have to tell you something and it's ok if you don't feel the same you just have a right to know and I don't want this to ruin our friendship or partnership." Blackstar was still looking down at her serious as ever.
"I love you." she choked out tears of fear forming in her eyes. For a second it was quiet but it felt like eternity. Finally, she felt Blackstar place a hand on her chin and tilt her face upward. He smiled at her leaning his face down closer to hers closing the gap between their lips. He kissed her sweetly and pulled her into a hug.
"I love you too my goddess." Blackstar whispered in her ear. After that, all was well for the new couple.
