Never Forgive and Never Forget

Another poem I wrote about Percy's thoughts after seeing the results of the war in "The Last Olympian".

The things I have seen,

I can never erase from my mind.

The memories of the broken faces,

The broken bodies,

Nor the broken spirits of those fallen warriors.

I cannot describe how much guilt and regret,

Rests in my heart because of him.

The ruthless Titan that caused all of the battles,

Deaths,

And pain.

I will never forgive him,

Neither forget.
