Onto the story! :D

My boots made a clicking sounds as I walked into the dark temple and across the cold stone floor. I knew he was watching me, I could feel it, just as I always could.

"Ares! Come out!" I shouted, not asking; demanding.

He appeared in his trade mark flash of blue light; arms crossed so his muscles buldged out. I stared for a second, just long enough for him to notice and give me an all knowing grin. The self righteous pig.

"What do you want Xena?" he asked, tilting his head to the side pensively; all the while staring at me, his lips parted slightly.

"I came here to apologise. I'm sorry for not trusting you about Dahak," I breathed out; I hate apologising.

He raised an eyebrow, a chuckle escaping through his mesmering lips.

"Your sorry are you, Princess?"

He took a step towards me, leaning in so his face was close to mine.

"Maybe this time I won't be so quick to forgive..."

He reached up and watched as his hand trailed seductively down my arm. I supressed the shiver threatening to move me; I couldn't let him get to me.

So instead I feigned a glare but as I did this he pulled me up against him so our bodies were practically molded into one anothers.

"Maybe this time you should make it up to me?" he said just above a whisper.

"Oh?" I whispered. "That kind of apology..."

I glanced down at his parted lips before grazing my tongue over my own.

Leaninf in slowly, I felt his breath of my face and saw his eye-lids close over his minipulatingly mesmerising eyes. Gliding my lips past his, I glanced down to see his eyes pop open in surprise when I spoke:

"...is a snowballs chance in Tartarus."

Then I took a step back, putting some much needed distance between our flushed bodies.

I spun around on my heel, stalking out from his temple; the catlike smile well on the way to occupying my lips.
