And so our favourite foursome set off again in search for anything "untouched by all this crap", hopefully humans. But as they drove along highway after highway, all they found were zombies, ruins, and zombies. Until they came to an abandoned high school just outside Pasadena. Walking through the corridor, what seemed to be the zombie remains of a male student and a male teacher came sprinting towards them, but, of course, with two quick fires of his gun, Tallahassee was saving the world one zombie at a time, "Hey, Columbus, why can't you ever save the day once in a while?" he asked.
Columbus didn't respond.
And just as everything seemed normal, zombies everywhere, half of the school scattered on the ground, what looked like a German Shepard came running out into the hallway, barking and growling at them. Wichita raised her gun, but before she could shoot, a little girl about eight or nine, had a handgun at the ready, easing back the vicious dog, "Easy, girl..." she looked at them in amazement. The four were surprised and confused to see a couple of non-cannibal freaks living among the world, apart from them.
The girl stood in shock to see them as well. And as if things couldn't get any weirder, out comes another person, "Olivia, what's the hold up? It's almost dinner..." a young boy, around Little Rock's age, pulled out his gun and aimed it at Columbus, "Who are you?" he yelled from across the hallway, he took a few steps closer, "I said, WHO ARE YOU?!" he was basically screaming now, he was trembling so hard, it looked like he was about to cry.
It was kinda cute actually, he must have been so scared, but he tried to hold it in and be as brave as he could be.
He began to speak, "I am Columbus, this is Wichita, Little Rock and Tallahassee" motioning to each person.
"You do realise that you all have cities for names, right?" the boy yelled from across the room
"Yes, it was Tallahassee's idea, keeps us from getting to familiar with each other!" Columbus yelled back
The boy walked over to him, "Well, then, you can call me Denver," he said mockingly. And he led them back to their hideout in the school.
