I sit here,
Lost in thought,
And through my head I hear,
The familiar battle being fought.
I should stay,
For I love you,
I wish I there was a way,
I knew what to do.
Or maybe I should go,
For I should not wait to long,
I wish I could know,
If loving you is so wrong.
I sigh and start to weep,
For I know not how to feel,
For my love for you runs deep,
I wonder if I'll ever heal.
I wonder if I'll find out soon,
Which choice is right for me,
And then I'll burst out of this cocoon,
That has enveloped me.
And then I'll give the world a chance,
To see me what I have picked,
I'll offer them a simple glance,
When all has finally clicked.
