One day "Charming" the butterfly was sitting on his flower home showing himself off, when along came a shy little butterfly. Her name was Bell and she thought Charming was the most handsome butterfly she had ever seen!
She decided one day, to put aside her fears and ask Charming to lunch. "Hi Charming, said Bell, "Can I come over to your house tomorrow for lunch?"
"Yes! That would be delightful", exclaimed Charming, I will see you tomorrow around 12 o'clock."
Bell was so excited she speeded all the way home.
That afternoon she went to Charming's house for lunch. They both sat down together to enjoy their meal. They had a wonderful time laughing, talking, and laughing so more!
Then all of a sudden the real Charming was exposed. He started yelling at Bell and screamed," You are such a disgrace to all butterflies! I would be embarrassed if I were your mother!"
Bell had no idea what to say. She didn't understand why Charming was yelling at her! Then she realized something, maybe Charming wasn't so great after all. If this is the way she would be treated, then she wouldn't stand for it! Without another second thought, she left and never came back.
