"I… have something to tell you." Tenn shifted on the grass, short pink hair tickling her face as she did so… Very realistic hologram, invented by the Vortians, of course. She glanced over to her friend, eyes as pink as her hair and lidded under the bright midday sky, "Something important." She straightened herself out. Hours were spent planning this and it wasn't something she was going to just blurt out. She wanted to protect this friendship, this special closeness that she felt in her spooch when her friend was near…
But she couldn't… keep lying. If Gaz cared enough than maybe they could get through this, continue with this odd relationship and perhaps have a connection as strong as the Tallest's. The disguised Irken could see it happening…
"Yeah." The violet haired human slowly pushed off her sandals and buried her toes in the grass.
Just do it, Tenn! You are no coward! You're a trained Irken soldier, tell her that you're not from this planet! …. If she thinks you're crazy, it shouldn't be too hard to prove her wrong…"I'm… I'm an…" But what if she's scared and runs away and never talks to you? What if she tells her daddy to dissect and kill you. What if she betrays you?
"Alien."
Tenn's eyes went and she immediately found herself standing above Gaz, "YOU KNEW!" At this point, she had no idea how to feel. It was a combination of shock, worry and absolute terror…
"Yes."
"For how long?"
Gaz stood and approached her, setting her soft hands on either side of Tenn's face, "Since before you came here." The Irken was frozen still, "You're an Irken Invader named Tenn, who was on the planet Meekrob, ready to conquer it for the Empire… But something went horribly wrong and you were saved by Invader Skoodge, who brought you here." Gaz leaned forward and pressed their foreheads together, "You didn't want to go back. And you don't have to."
Tenn was blown away. She knew so much… She knew EVERYTHING. Her friend knew everything!
She felt her whole body shiver, her eyes facing off to the side as she received a tender pair of lips to her cheek. "You're going to be okay. I'll keep you away from my stupid brother and the Tallest are never going to get you back."
"B-but…"
"I promise."
