Hagrid's eyes had yet to dull but were close to it. He couldn't recall how long he had been in prison. He had lost a third of his body mass because he was underfed. He was fed a small portion of cheese once a week by a gnome wearing green and a slightly larger portion of bread three times a week by a gnome that smells bad. His only friend, if you could call him that was a dwarf. He never spoke but in his sleep where he would yell "Ironforge". To fill the time Hagrid would count the freckles of his dwarf companion. The dwarf did not like this and would shriek in an unknown language. This does not count as speaking. When the green gnome came to deliver the cheese he also brought a letter that read:

Hagrid you were given this envelope by mistake please disregard it.

Hagrid then burst into tears. The dwarf because of his thirst began to lick the tears off his face. Suddenly Hagrid thought of his mother's oatmeal and wished he had some. At this point this he was so hungry he would lick oatmeal off of Severus Snape's left foot. The dwarf then stopped licking his face began to float in the air while screeching. Hagrid realized he would not be able to sleep tonight. Suddenly he remember he had a spoon strapped to his upper right thigh. As soon as he retrieved the spoon, the dwarf broke out of the trance and ate the spoon. The dwarf then died. Hagrid considered eating him. Hagrid became ashamed of himself and sat in the corner of the room. The corpse began to glow and transform into a butterfly. The butterfly flew away and Hagrid felt truly alone.

The gnome that smelled came with the bread. Seeing that the dwarf gone the gnome began to yell in Chinese and slap Hagrid across the face. Hagrid let out a yelp of pain. The green gnome rushed in and threw an orange powder on Hagrid. Hagrid then woke up in a field of beautiful Marigold s and daffodils. He was free.
