Center stage of world politics as the Britannian Empire was, being a member of the Royal Family naturally held many dangers. A tiny but constant thread of fear nestled in Cornelia's consciousness whenever she was abroad, thinking of her sister.

From afar, she couldn't protect her beloved Euphie and would feel calmer if she were safely locked away from kidnappers and assassins. Euphie's freedom, however, was more important than Cornelia's peace of mind.

Trust helped her battle worry. The same trust that made her careless, let the massacre at Mount Fuji happen. And the death that took Cornelia's love away.
