(in this version Burt and Carol are already married and Finn is Kurt's step brother)

Blaine Anderson was going to the park today. His mommy paid his big brother Cooper to take him.

"Blaine, I'm going to hang out with my friends. You can play in this area. OK?" Cooper asked him once they were at the park.

"OK, Cooper." Blaine said. Blaine as only four so the thought of being alone scared him. He looked for something to do, all the swings were taken, he had no one to tetter totter with and the slide had a big line. Then he saw it, a little pond with ducks swimming in it. He walked over to the pond and sat down atching at the ducks playfully splashed each other. After ten minutes he felt someone sit by him. It was another little boy, just a little older than him.

"Hi. Would you like some bread to feed the ducks?" the other little boy asked.

"Sure." Blaine said, grabbing the bread out of the other boy's hand. Blaine ripped off little pieces of bread and threw it by the birds. Once he ran out he looked at the other boy. The boy had light brown hair and light blue eyes.

"Do you want some more bread?" the boy asked, noticing Blaine's hand was empty.

"OK." Blaine said, not seeing any more bread.

"Finn!" the boy yelled.

"Yeah Kurt?" said a tall boy that came running when the other boy yelled. He was about four feet tall, very tall for his age.

"Tell momma I need some more bread for the birds." the boy said.

"Get it yourself." the taller boy said.

"Please." the other boy said looking at the tall one with big eyes.

"OK, for you." the taller one said ruffleing the other's hair and running off.

"AHHH! My hair!" the boy screamed.

Blaine laughed at the silly comment. What boy cared if his hair was messy?

"Why are you laughing?" the boy asked, appearing sad.

"Why do you care if your hair is messy?" Blaine asked.

"I don't know... I just do." the boy said. After a few minutes of uncomfortable silence Blaine said something.

"What's your name?" he asked.

"Kurt. What's your's?" Kurt asked.

"I'm Blaine, who was that Finn guy?"

"That's my step-brother. His momma and my dad got married." Kurt said.

"Cool." It was then Blaine noticed it. In Kurt's hand was a doll. It had pale skin and light brown hair, with eyes matching Kurt's.

"Why are you holding a doll?" Blaine asked.

"It was my momma's doll. It's supposed to look like her. She gave it to me before she died." Kurt said, tears welling in his eyes. Blaine pulled him into an embrace and kissed him on the cheek.

"Kurt I got the..." Finn stopped short. He was looking at both boys, mainly on Blaine. Blaine let go of Kurt and pretended to focus on a duck.

"Here's the bread." Finn says handing him the bread.

"Thanks Finn. Wanna feed the ducks with us?" Kurt asks patting a seat next to him.

"No thanks Kurt, I'm gonna play doctor with Rachel." he said scampering off towards the playground.

Blaine lie down on the small dock, his hands under his head, looking at the clouds. Kurt mimicked his movement staring upward.

"That one looks like a turtle!" Blaine giggled.

"That looks like a purse!" Kurt pointed. The two went back and forth listing what they saw.

"Blaine! Blaine! There you are!" Cooper said walking towards the two boys.

"That's my big brother. I think I have to go." Blaine said.

Blaine got up and strode toward his brother.

"We have to get home for dinner Blaine." Cooper said taking his hand.

"Wait! Blaine!"Kurt said running towards him.

"Yeah Kurt?" Blaine asked.

"I want you to have this." Kurt said handing him the doll. Blaine gave a kiss on the cheek.

"Bye bye Kurt!" Blaine called.

"Bye Blaine!" Kurt yelled back.
