Just a one shot that popped into my head Enjoy

CLARY'S POV

10 years. It's been ten years since I found out I was a shadow hunter. 10 years since I met Jace. I still couldn't believe this gorgeous boy is mine. I look beside me to see Jace looking very studiously y at the peanut butter on the shelves at the super market. He notices me looking at him and says "I don't know what kind of peanut butter to get."

"That's easy" I say "get the smooth kind. Its way better."

"To you at least" says Jace "I think chunky's way better."

"Then why would you wonder about what kind to get? If you like chunky better then you should get chunky. Easy as that."

"Because" Jace says with a matter-of-faculty tone to his voice" I want to make you happy to."

Damnit. Why does he have to be so caring? "Awe. Stop it you! Just get the damn chunky stuff I don't mind! But we must get smooth next time!"

Jace laughs at this "Of course. Whatever you say your highness." He fake bows and I roll my eyes. He's lucky he is so cute.

Once we get home I put away the groceries and Jace heads up stairs to shower. Once all the groceries are put away I make two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. One for me and one for Jace. I end up eating just a spoonful of peanut butter nothing else.

I almost jump out of my pants when Jace sneaks up behind me and snakes his arms around my waist.

"By the angel Jace. Don't scare me like that!" I can feel his lips curl into a smirk on my neck.

"I'm sorry. I'm just so talented at what I do I don't even notice any more."

I twist around in his arms so I'm facing him.

His eyes go to my lips and his lips curl into a smile. "You've got a little something there Clary."

Shit. "Oh my gosh where?"

He does that sexy little half smirk "Right about….." he kisses me delicately on the lips "there" he whispers against my lips.

I decide to tease him a little bit. I pull away "Why thank you Jace. I wouldn't want to be embarrassed now would I?"

"Damnit you're annoying. Why do you have to tease me?" I hear him mumble under his breath.

I put on the most innocent face I can "Tease you? Now why would I do that?"

I grab a spoon and take another spoonful of peanut butter

"You know? This stuff isn't that bad." He gives me the evil eye and I turn around to start walking away. But I'm lifted off my feet and over Jace's shoulder

"JACE!" I screech "PUT ME DOWN!"

I hear him chuckle as he carries me down the hall "NEVER! You're mine now!" I realize it's a lost cause and just slouch over his shoulder.

He finally puts me down in the library. He takes my spoon of peanut butter and eats it all in one bite.

"Hey! That was mine!" I sit on the couch and do the best fake pout I can.

"Awww I'm sorry Clare Bear. Bu that's what you get when you tease me."

I walk up to him and wrap my arms around his neck "I'm sorry Jacey I swear I won't do it again"

"Hmmm I don't know." He says sarcastically. "I guess I accept your apology."

"Good. Now if you don't mind I would like to go finish my sandwich."

"I just need to do one thing first." He kisses me deeply on the lips before pulling back and saying "you had a little bit of peanut butter there. Again."
