Citrine Quartz raced down the corridor. In all her years as cheif of the Pearl kindergarten, this one was the most important. Yes, she had made Agate's pearls, Sapphire's pearls and even a co-worker's pearl, but this was her first Diamond Pearl.
As she rushed down the stairs, made of white material, she saw a ship. A pink ship. A sleek ship, unique amongst homeworld's fleets. It was circular, with a bridge that looked like the regular handship type. Pink Diamond's cruiser. It was time.
As Citrine rushed down to the ship, she heard a buzz on her wrist monitor. The pearl was almost out! Citrine made an anouncement on the monitor: "All gems evacuate area 529XB, the Pearl is almost out!". The ship landed with a soft 'woooosh'. Pink Diamond stepped out.
Citrine greeted her with the normal procedure, and lead her to the area 529XB, Oyster 66. Pink did so wordlessly. Just as they got there, the oyster opened, and the fragile gem was exposed to the world for the first time.
A small, round gem on her navel, a pink hue and similar hair to her Diamond. She was perfect. Little did she know that she would become the most gem in Pink Diamond's life.
