Starting off, the "prologue" isn't going to be as interesting, it's kind of forced. It was a lot better, albeit a lot shorter, but I really wanted to make it longer, so I ended up making it kind of awkward. Anyways, the story will be a sort of parody-type: It was simply a brainchild of my friend and I on the bus one day. It's also a rewrite, so this is the 2nd time I'm writing it, and hopefully it'll be better. Well, here we go.
First, there was nothing. There was no world, only darkness. The darkness was spread over the universes now known to humans and Pokemon alike. The darkness knew no limits; it shut out any form of hope or life that even began to form. Out of the darkness and chaos, there came an egg.
The egg hatched into the great being that is Arceus. Arceus was destined to be the god of all. As God, Arceus created the planets. He created various other beings of legend, including Dialga, who developed time, and Palkia, who developed space. Originally there were three beings to have been created, but the third broke away from the world Arceus created to form its own world, void of time and space. Arceus then created beings of weather, Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza. Out of the moon came Lugia, who grew to rule the sea, and out of the Sun came Ho-oh, who took to the skies. Finally, three beings were created to form emotion: Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf. Balance was maintained by three, one yin, one yang, and one to represent the both. Arceus finished creating the beings of legend to do his bidding, and fell into a deep slumber.
As history went on, more legendary beings were created. Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres were created by Lugia as titans of ice, lightning, and fire. Pokemon to rule the heavens, the land, and the matter in between were created, namely Tornadus, Landorus, and Thundurus.
Eventually, humans, as well as common Pokemon, were created. They lived on separate planets, with no knowledge the other species existed. Animals were created to keep the humans company on their planet, a counterpart to Pokemon. Plants existed on both planets to sustain the lives of Pokemon and people. Landmasses on each planet were named: on the humans' planet, there were continents called Africa, Europe, and Asia, and the humans later discovered even more land masses, which they called Antarctica, Australia, and the Americas. Pokemon were created to fill their own specific regions, explaining why there are different Pokemon in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova. They soon learned how to interact between regions, through flying, swimming, walking, or teleportation, which lead to diversity in each region.
In the region called Johto, there was not much diversity of Pokemon, with less than 100 species unique to the land mass. However, it was connected to Kanto and near the large island of Hoenn, which made for more diversity. On what would later be called "Route 32", there was borne a Hoppip and a Mareep.
Thank you for reading if you did, and I promise the next chapter will be much better, or at least more like a parody.
