It's a fine day. I'm not feeling anything special. I'm just going to meet him at his house - nothing else. I can't remember why he asked me. But whatever the reason, I don't want to go. I just want to keep reading my manga.
Nagisa POV
She is beautiful. She is so powerful.. and, just… so.. my gosh. I can't describe her. I couldn't ask her on a "date" date. She would have said no. So I told her it was just a meet up. At my place. Four o'clock. That's a reasonable time, right? I hope. Dammit. What if she doesn't meet me? What if she doesn't like me back? Whatever. I like her. So much. I want her to know. I need to get ready.
2 hours later, at Nagisa's place
Okuda's POV
Come on Okuda. Knock on the door. There we go. Why are you nervous? Wait, am I late? Am I early? Let me check my phone. Thank god, it's 4 right now. "Hey Nagisa!" I say. "H-h-h- hey. Come on in." Oh no. Something happened. He must have something serious he needs to tell me. He never stutters. EVER. "Hey, what's up?" I asked. His face was a mix of nervous, scared, and happy all at once. Like something good was coming, but he was frightened by it too. It looked like the good may reject him. It made me scared. "I need to say something." "Oh no! What happened? Did I hurt your feelings or-" "No Okuda. You're fine. No. You're amazing. That's what I need to say. I like you Okuda. I really, really like you. I don't care what you think. You're the best, and I want you to be my girlfriend. I think I love you. You're funny, courageous, and God knows what else. Please …" "Oh my god, Nagisa. I had no clue and -" "If you don't like me, it's fine. We can be friends." "Oh my gosh, STOP INTERRUPTING ME!" "Sorry.." "Thank you. Now. Listen. I like you too. I thought I'd be stuck in the friendzone forever. You're cute and cute and cute and… I think I love you too." Wow. Did I just say that? Well.. he knows now. Yay. "So please be my girlfriend?" asked Nagisa, after a very awkward moment. "Of course! And not to rush things, but…" I scooched over next to him and started to kiss him.
Nagisa POV
Her lips… just came over and touched mine. They were so soft, like.. I can't describe it. She is a great kisser (who would have thought THAT?) and now my girlfriend. The cutest, nerdiest, most amazing girl as mine. Wow. She stayed over that night. We watched a lot of anime and kissed. All night. It was the best thing I could ever ask for.
