Fc: I'm finally starting it. Angel is Second Chance's sister story. This is what could of happened.
Fern: She's also like to apologize for the removal of Clocks. That will be up again soon!
Fc: Sorry it's short!

Angel
I could feel the cool metal slam into my small frame.
I felt my body twist in an indescribable way.
I felt my ribs crack beneath my skin.
I saw my life rush past my eyes.
My heart skipped a beat.
I was dying.
I realized this long before I heard the wail of ambulance sirens. I knew this before people gathered around the accident sight. I knew I had no chance. My realization must have shown on my face. She began to cry and bury her face into my shoulder. It hurt, both physically and emotionally.
I wanted to speak. I wanted to comfort her. I wanted to lie and tell her I would survive. I couldn't speak. I gasped horribly instead of speaking simple English. Three words I had never said and I knew I could never say.
I looked up into her soft amethyst eyes. I tried to smile. She just cried harder and began to stroke my hair. I felt something warm, wet and sticky touch my side. She gasped. I figured it was blood.
I could hear the sirens. My vision began to fail me. People, buildings, Sam…they all swirled together. I closed my eyes and relaxed. I remember reading somewhere to not fear death, but view it as the next great adventure. Maybe I would…
I heard the emergency personnel becoming frantic. Their words were distorted, but the strain and anxiety was still ringing clear. I heard Sam's voice calling to me, echoing distinctly above the rest.
"Danny, Hold on. Please just hold on." I was trying. Holding on to a body that was beyond broken was becoming more and more difficult. Then I saw light. I knew this was my time now. I couldn't hold on anymore. I saw Clockwork floating in the light, beckoning me forward.
"Come young one. Your time has come." I felt my body begin to slip away from my spirit.
I tried my hardest to call back to her. "Sam, I…love…you." I managed to say before I slipped away completely. I heard her hysterical cries. I heard her calling my name, begging me not to leave her.
I looked up at Clockwork. He just turned and disappeared into the light. I had no choice but to follow him. Sam's cries became more distant as I moved closer to the light. I place my hand over my heart, or where it used to be. If I still had one, it would have shattered by now.
